Itinerary

Included in the tour is the ancient city of Bhaktapur, the very old Hindu temple and cremation ghats at Pashupatinath and the huge Buddhist stupa at Boudhanath. The tour also covers fascinating temples at Patan Durbar Square and Swayambunath, known as the 'monkey temple'. (real monkeys - that can really be a pain in the neck sometimes. Make sure you have some bananas on hand) which is located on a small hillock from where you can have a 360 degree view of Kathmandu valley. The trip extends to Nagarkot which is a one hour scenic drive out of the valley into one of the most beautiful natural environs in the country.

DAY 1 - Arrive Kathmandu

You will get a pickup from the airport and a drop to the hotel. Welcome drinks will be served. Overnight

DAY 2 - Sightseeing in Kathmandu and Patan

AM: Sightseeing of Bhaktapur City, Pashupatinath & Boudhanath
PM: Sightseeing of Patan City & a Handicrafts Centre. Overnight

DAY 3 - Sightseeing in Kathmandu and Bhaktapur

AM: Sightseeing of Bhaktapur City, Pashupatinath & Boudhanath
PM: Free to do your own things or stroll into Thamel, a famous tourist hub. Overnight

DAY 4 - Drive to Nagarkot

After an early morning breakfast , drive to scenic Nagarkot . Overnight.

DAY 5 - Sightseeing in Nagarkot and departure to Kathmandu

After view ing an early morning spectacular sunrise from the windows of your room and some sightseeing, return back to the hotel for breakfast & departure to Kathmandu. Arrive Kathmandu, do some packing and last minute shopping and prepare for departure to airport for onward flight home.
